Holiday Wine

It’s that time again! Holiday get-togethers are fun, but all the decisions and preparation can also be stressful. At least we can lower your stress level with one aspect of your holiday gathering, choosing a good wine! Whether you are having an intimate dinner for two, the family, or having the whole neighborhood over for a holiday feast, nothing tops off the meal better than the right wine for the occasion. Lucky for you, Bent Oak Winery, right here in Cedar Park, Texas, has the right wines just for you.

Our Russian River Pinot Noir will nicely compliment that wonderful traditional standard, turkey and dressing. If your dressing is more robust, or if your side dishes have bold flavors, consider our Zinfandel. These wines are very drinkable, and are sure to please all of your guests. For those of you serving ham, both the Zin and the Pinot are excellent choices. If you’re going all out and serving Chateaubriand, or just a simple steak, the Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon would be your best bet.

You or your guests may be strictly white wine drinkers. In that case, our Chardonnay will fit quite nicely and is a great way to set the mood for those who enjoy both whites and reds. For pre-dinner cheeses and snacks, either of our Viogniers will be an excellent accompaniment. Desserts also go well with the fruitier flavors of the Viognier.
