Hi //FirstName//,

We are excited to let you know we are extending our Thursday through Saturday hours starting October 1st!   And even more excitement for our 1st Friday each month to add yet another reservation slot and bringing back Wine Down Friday music!  As you can see in the graphic below, we will be extending our normal hours on Thursday through Saturday from 2:00 to 7:00 and on 1st Fridays we will be open until 8:30!  Yahoo!

The tasting room is open by reservation only at 50% occupancy - we cannot accept walk-ups - and curbside pickup continues. We are operating under the TABC "51% Rule" which classifies us as a restaurant requiring non-wine purchases to be higher than the cost of the glass or bottle of wine.

A bit more of good news, we are now going to offer Tastings To Go for curbside pickup starting on September 21st.  We will be offering Tastings To Go for the Wine Trail event starting on October 1st and thought that it would be cool to offer them to everyone.  Unfortunately, this is not something that we can ship.  We hope you will check it out and join our Zoom call next week (September 25th) to walk through the Tastings To Go with John as he discusses each wine.

Hey club members, all of you should have received an email identifying the wines for your club and letting you know all the important dates associated with the October Release.  If you did not get an email please let us know.

Are you ready for some football?

What better way to gain some form of normalcy than watching our favorite teams play again!  Some of us are not so happy with the results of the 1st week but at least we are having fun!  And to make it a little more interesting, our NFL You Pick 'Em game gets us watching all of the games or at least the scores.

We had 44 people participate in week #1 which ended in a two-person tie and had to use the tiebreaker score to determine the winner.  Congratulations to Les Groff for getting 13 correct and having the closest total score to the tiebreaker game total score for the win.  Les won a bottle of Blanc du Bois.

Join us for Week 2 of the NFL You Pick 'Em game.  You select the winners of each game and enter the total score of the Monday Night Football game.  A bottle of Dolcetto to this weekend's winner!  Below is the link to the pick 'em entry form.  Get your entry in before the Thursday night game and good luck! (Note: You can enter after Thursday night, but will have to take that game as a loss).

By the way if you have never played, anyone can do it.  If you do not know much about football, just pick your favorite cities, colors, or mascot.  Or all home or all away (this wins at least once a year per my historical tests).   If picking all home or away, the 2nd team listed is the home team such as Cincinnati Bengals (Away) vs Cleveland Browns (Home).  Join in the fun for a chance to win a bottle of wine!
